Brentino - Maculan

Mi è capitato di acquistare questa bottiglia in un’enoteca di Modena (Giorgi Renzo, via Giardini 392) e non posso che essere d’accordo con questa recensione trovata sul web:

…Lo colloco tra quella ventina di vini che considero “insostituibili” e “ben fatti” ad un prezzo contenuto. Questo blend di Merlot 55% e Cabernet Sauvignon 45% prodotto su terreni ghiaiosi e colline tufacee a Breganze (Vicenza) da Maculan, è quel che si dice un vino franco, dal colore rosso rubino intenso con toni leggermente granati. Ha un profumo intenso, fruttato, balsamico, con sentori di legno e leggeri richiami di inchiostro. In bocca è caldo, con un corpo equilibrato e persistente…

Aggiungerei che si percepiscono sentori di tabacco. Metà del vino viene affinato per 12 mesi in barrique, l’altra metà in acciaio inox.

L’ho pagato, scontato del 20%, poco meno di 7 euro.

Si sente parlare molto bene anche del “Torcolato”, sempre della ditta Maculan (http://www.maculan.net).

I bought  this bottle in a wine of Modena (Giorgi Renzo, Via Giardini 392) and I can only agree with this review found on the web:

Add that we perceive hints of tobacco. Half the wine is aged for 12 months in barrels, the other half in stainless steel.

I paid, discounted by 20%, less than 7 euros.

I hear very well about “Torcolato”,  same  company: Maculan (http://www.maculan.net).
